Terms and Conditions of webinars and other virtual events of The Next Cloud B.V. (“Terms and Conditions”)

1. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, The Next Cloud B.V. (“TNC”) owns copyright for the content presented in the webinar or any other virtual events (the “Online Events”). Some of the copyright for the content on this website may be owned by individual presenters and is included on our website under a license or agreement. 

Online Events as well recordings of Online Events are to be viewed by the registrant only; the content must under no circumstances be recorded or reproduced. The content must not be modified or republished in any way without the prior consent of the presenter. If you seek to reproduce or otherwise use the content in any way it is your responsibility to obtain approval for such use where necessary. Any breach of copyright, including recording the presentation or any unauthorized use of the material may lead to legal action.

2. Learning outcomes

TNC is not liable for the detailed content of any Online Events, quality of presentation or if learning outcomes did not entirely meet expectations.

3. Links from Online Events

Online Events may contain links to other websites over which TNC has no control. TNC  makes no representations about the accuracy of information contained on those websites. TNC is not liable for the content on those websites.

4. Registrations

By registering for any Online Events, consent is given for application details to be provided to [ZOOM?] to set up any Online Events you registered for. You can view [ZOOM] policies on their website [ZOOM link]

5. Cancellation

Registration for any Online Events may be cancelled up to [48 hours?] prior to the date and time of the start of any Online Events you registered for. If for any reason, the registration is required to be cancelled by TNC, a notification email will be sent as soon as possible.

6. Online Events are recorded

Any Online Events may include a feature that allows audio and any documents and other materials exchanged or viewed during the session to be recorded. By joining a session, you automatically consent to such recordings. If you do not consent to the recording, please contact TNC by [e-mail] to discuss your concerns in good time prior to the date of the specific Online Event.

Online Events participation may require you to configure your software settings on your mobile or web-device upon first use, or require you to download the software for your operating system. Software can be manually downloaded by visiting the [Zoom installer?]. Please note that you may require administrator privileges on your computer to be able to manually install software.

7. Online Events materials

Any Online Events presenter may provide reference materials for your use during or after the Online Events. These  may include (but are not limited to) the following: a copy of the webinar slides, sample documents, templates or other material for use during the Online Events. All Online Events-related materials remain copyright of TNC. Some of the copyright for such materials may be owned by individual presenters and is included in such materials under a license or agreement. They must not be distributed to any third party at any time or in any form without written permission from TNC.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

This Agreement is exclusively governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

All disputes arising in connection with this Agreement, or further agreements resulting thereof, shall (in first instance) exclusively be settled by the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

These Terms and Condition are dated 5 June 2020 and may be amended at any time by TNC, as of which date such amended Terms and Conditions will be applicable on any Online Events on and as form such date.
